NWRC wins BJS Prize

As a brand new research collaborative, we were very proud to be awarded the BJS prize for best new project abstract at the National Research Collaborative meeting in November. The competition took a ‘Dragon’s Den’ format, and the judges were unanimous in awarding the top prize to our idea for the PPACs trial. The presentation was given by the PPACs steering group lead Lyndsay Pearce, ST6 colorectal and emergency surgery.
